Hortencia Arellano's Obituary
Hortencia Arellano, age 51 of Uvalde, Texas passed away Friday, June 12, 2020 surrounded by her family at home in Uvalde, Texas. Hortencia was born in Crystal City, Texas on September 20, 1968 to Eugenio Arellano and Rosalia Zamora-Arellano. She is preceded in death by her mother, Rosalia Z. Arellano and brothers; Salvador & Antonio Arellano.
Mrs. Hortencia Arellano will be missed most by her loving husband of 23 years Jesus Garcia, sons, Anthony Garcia, Jesse Garcia, Ray Garcia, Richard Garcia, daughters; Viviana Arellano, Jessica Garcia, Shelly Garcia, Amy Garcia, father, Eugenio Arellano, brothers; Juan Arellano, Eugenio Arellano Jr., sisters; Maria Estrada and Maria Arellano Tellez all of Uvalde, Texas, and many numerous nieces & nephews.
The Arellano family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 50 percent capacity during all services.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020 from 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Tuesday, June 16, 2020 from
9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will also be held at 7:00 P.M. both days, Monday, June 15, 2020 and Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Fort Clark Road, Uvalde, Texas.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, 527 Lovers Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
