Israel Reyes Cuellar, 79 of Uvalde died August 12, 2022 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital in Uvalde.
A Visitation will take place Thursday, August 18, 2022 from noon to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Rosary will begin at 7:00 P.M. A Mass is set Friday, August 19, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home. Cremation to follow.
He was born in San Diego, Texas on September 18, 1942 to Herminia Reyes and Juan Cuellar.
He is survived by cousin; Melva Castillo of Uvalde, five great cousins; Sonia Castillo Ochoa, Jesus Castillo and wife; Rachel all of Uvalde, Ricardo Castillo Jr. and wife; Zwanyka Sanchez of La Pryor, Jose Carlos Castillo of Uvalde, Robert Castillo and wife; Julie of Friendswood, nine; first cousins; Elosia Rodriguez, Alma Reyes, Rebecca Flores and husband; Mario, Ruben Reyes and wife; Gloria, Sylvia Ramirez and husband; Manuel, Daniel Reyes all of Uvalde, Antonia Pena and husband; Manuel of Spofford, Raymundo Reyes and wife; Rosa, Domingo Reyes of Del Rio.
He is preceded in death by both parents; Herminia Reyes Cuellar and Juan Cuellar, two brothers; Rodolfo Cuellar, Juan Cuellar Jr., three cousins; Ricardo Castillo Sr., Arturo “Rookie” Reyes, Jose “Chicho” Reyes.
