Ivan Hinojosa's Obituary
Ivan Jacob Hinojosa Jr, age 23, passed away October 27, 2022 in Alice, Texas.
He was born August 5, 1999 in Beeville, Texas to Ivan Hinojosa Sr. and Jessica Reyna. Ivan was a 2018 Ben Bolt High School graduate. He worked in the oilfield industry. Ivan enjoyed family time when he wasn't working; barbecuing, and also enjoyed the company of his fur baby. Enzo. Ivan will be remembered as a big-hearted person who would go above and beyond for his family. He will be dearly missed by many who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, | Jessica Reyna; and great-grandmother,
Irene Ramirez.
Ivan is survived by his father, Ivan Hinojosa Sr. of Mathis; step-father, Robert Gonzales of Uvalde; aunt who raised him after his beloved mother passed away, Jennifer Garcia of Alice, aunt, Joanna Gallegos of Alice, Cynthia Ann Hinojosa of Mathis, Micha Hinojosa Paiz of Mathis, and Krista Hinojosa of Mathis; uncle, Joe Torres of Uvalde; maternal grand-mother, Janie Martinez of Uvalde; paternal grandparents, Miguel and Diana Hinojosa of Mathis; siblings, Filiberto Reyna Jr. of Uvalde, Jacqueline Reyna of San Antonio, Christopher Reyna of Uvalde, Kailey Gonzales of San Antonio, Carlos "CJ" Guzman of Corpus Christi, Jolynn Garcia of Alice, Roland Munoz Jr of Alice, Jianna Munoz of Uvalde, Jailynn Carba-jal of Alice, and Jaslene Gonzales of Uvalde; half-sister, Malarie Hinojosa of Mathis; seven cousins; other extended family; and his fur baby, Enzo.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 31, 2022 at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel in Alice from 11 a.m. till 3 p.m. with a rosary to be held at 1:00 P.M. same day.
Additional services will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home in Uvalde.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, where A Rosary will begin at 7:00 P.M. A Mass is set for Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 9:00 A.M. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
