Janie Rios, age 50, of Batesville, Texas passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. Janie Rios was born in Uvalde, Texas on August 8, 1970 to Natividad Rios & Maria Hernandez-Rios. She is preceded in death by her father Natividad Rios.
Ms. Rios will be missed most by her loving mother; Maria H. Rios of Batesville Texas, brothers; Jose Alfredo (Irma) Rios, Martin Rios, Alonso, Rios, Armando Rios, Natividad (Estella) Rios Jr., all of Batesville, Texas Jerardo (Melissa) Rios of Lincoln, Nebraska, Guadalupe Rios of Plainview, Texas, Hector (Margie Ramirez) Rios, of Batesville, Texas, Ramiro Rios of Casa Grande, Arizona, Fernando (Rosa) Rios of Batesville, Texas, sisters; Eliberta Grimaldo of Batesville, Texas, Erma R. (Antonio Jr.) Galindo of Batesville, Texas, Carmen (David) Gauna of Batesville, Texas and numerous nieces & nephews.
The Rios family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 50 percent capacity and require mask coverings during all services.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 12:00P.M. to 900P.M., Chapel of Serenity, Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, 424 Geraldine, Uvalde, Texas.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held 7:00 P.M. Friday, August 21, 2020, Chapel of Serenity, Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, 424 Geraldine, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 23, 2020 at Saint Patrick Catholic Church with Rev. Father Gustavo Ortega officiating, Old Loma Vista Road, Batesville, Texas
Interment will conclude all services at Batesville Cemetery, Batesville, Texas.
Services are entrusted to Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas
