Javier Gomez Rangel Sr. 58 of Uvalde died Wednesday March 13, 2024 at his residence in Uvalde.
A Visitation will take place Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Rosary will begin at 7:00 P.M. A Mass set for Monday 18, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Uvalde Cemetery.
He was born on May 24, 1965 in Uvalde to Josefina Gomez and Hermilo Rangel.
He is survived by his wife; Rita M. Rangel of Uvalde, mother; Josefina Gomez Rangel of Uvalde, two sons; Javier Rangel Jr. and wife; Natalie, Gabriel Alejandro Rangel and companion; Brianna Hernandez all of Uvalde, two step sons; Alejandro Maldonado and wife; Neri, Carlos Daniel Maldonado and companion; Shannon Cardenas both of Uvalde, one step daughter; Brenda Maldonado of Uvalde, seven brothers; Jesus Isaiz and wife; Maricela of Weatherford, Casimiro Rangel and wife; Rachel, Hermilo Rangel Jr. and wife; Patti, Manuel Rangel and wife; Elizabeth, Roberto Rangel and wife; Debbie, Ricardo Rangel and wife; Carmen, Jesus Garcia and wife; Leticia all of Uvalde, three sisters; Josefina Garcia of San Antonio, Sylvia Rangel and companion; Juan Ibarra of Uvalde, Esperanza Rangel of Acuna Coahuila, two grandson; Jay Edward Rangel, Alejandro Maldonado Jr. both of Uvalde, one granddaughter; Adelynn Maldonado of Uvalde.
Pallbearers will be; Jesus Isaiz of Weatherford, Casimiro Rangel, Hermilo Rangel Jr., Manuel Rangel, Roberto Rangel, Ricardo Rangel, Jesus Garcia all of Uvalde.
He is preceded in death by his father; Hermilo Rangel, sister; Norma Rangel.
