I am so sorry for the loss of one of the greatest coaches that the state of Texas will ever have. Coach Jerry was the epitome of a Coach. The impact that she had on all and on the lives that she touched will never be matched. I met Jerry when I arrived at Del Rio High school back in 1995 as a tennis coach. Whenever I needed advise or help running a tournament, I knew that I could count on her to help me out. And I always knew when something was going wrong because I would see her walking to the desk with her look on her face. And sure enough, she'd point out where I had gone wrong on the brackets. The teams she coached were successful because they were a reflection of her. Coach Jerry, the tennis family will miss you tremendously, but heaven is a better place now because you have joined the best family. May you rest in peace. We are so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. Jerry will be deeply missed by her family, many friends, and numerous students who were her extended family. In her 50 years with Knippa ISD, Jerry guided her students with integrity, kindness, thoughtfulness, and wisdom. She had such pride in her school and in her athletes. She was a Rockcrusher through and through. All the students and the faculty held her in high esteem.
As a coach of very many sports, Jerry had the opportunity to help and guide an abundance of people. She always strived to be the very best and instilled this trait in all her students as a way to be successful in sports and throughout life. Her numerous awards are a tribute to her excellence in coaching. Her legacy will live forever through the many lives that she touched. She truly contributed in making this world a better place.
We know that you have special treasured memoires. Hold these within your mind and your heart and Jerry will always be close to you.

in honor of Jerry.

I had the privilege to work under Coach Radicke in 2000 as assistant coach for cross country and tennis at Knippa.
She exemplified what it meant to be a Rockcrusher. Her dedication and enthusiasm for her school and kids was evident every day.
My family and I have been privileged to have known coach.
Her example of sportsmanship in winning or losing a match cannot be put into words. She not only taught the rules of the game but she taught lessons of life about being on time, respectful to all, encouraging of others, and above all to be a good person of moral and ethical value.
Coach Radicke I will truly miss your presence at any Knippa sports event.

Jerry was indeed one of a kind. I've known her since the day she first became a Rockcrusher. She was a student in my classroom. She was my peer at KISD. She taught and coached both my children and several of my grandchildren. We traveled thousands of miles on the school bus going to school functions. She wasn't just a coach and teacher; the curtain never opened at Knippa or SWTJC that she wasn't there. Jerry Radicke was a Rockcrusher personified and a friend to all. Good bye, friend.

Jerry was a class act and definitely an ambassador for the Knippa community. I suggest that the community name the tennis courts in her name. RIP Jerry, we will miss you.
