Jesusa Lira Flores, age 79 of Uvalde, Texas passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 in Uvalde, Texas. Jesusa Lira Flores was born in Natalia, Texas on August 14, 1941 to Cecilio Lira and Juanita Zapata. She is preceded in death by both parents; Cecilio Lira and Juanita Zapata, brothers; Concepcion Lira and Juan Lira.
Jesusa Lira Flores will be missed most by her loving son; Mark Anthony (Dora) Moreno, of Carnes City, Texas, daughter; Sylvia (Roy) Rodriguez, of Batesville, Texas, brothers; Guadalupe (Linda) Lira, of Corpus Christi, Texas, Magdaleno Lira, of Uvalde, Texas, sisters; Aurelia Vasquez, Julia (Danny) Gonzalez, Josetina Flores, Eusevia Martinez and Maria Del Rosario (Paul Cruz) Lira, all of Uvalde, Texas, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
The Flores family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 75 percent capacity and required mask coverings during all services.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will also be held at 7:00 P.M., Monday, November 9, 2020at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10: 00 A.M. Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Fort Clark Road, Uvalde, Texas
Interment will follow at Flores Family Cemetery, 1351 W. Old Loma Vista Road, Batesville, Texas.
