Jesusa Fuentes Morin 92 of Uvalde died Saturday May 4, 2024 at her residence in Uvalde.
A Visitation will take place Tuesday May 7, 2024 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will take place at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Service held Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She was born on July 12, 1931 in Esperanza Mexico to Eulalia Morin and Porfirio Fuentes.
She is survived by her son; Alfredo Rodriguez of Uvalde, three daughters; Irma Elia Rodriguez Velez and husband; Matias of New Braunfels, Texas, Esmeralda Ortiz and companion; Ismael of San Antonio, Texas, Amanda Hernandez and husband; Lorenzo of Uvalde, two brothers; Santiago Fuentes of Esperanza, Mexico, Juan Fuentes of Piedras Negras, Mexico. 22 grandchildren. Numerous great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be; Marcos A. Sosa, Macario Velez, Alfred Velez all of New Braunfels, George Hernandez of Uvalde, Daniel Arau, Allen Arau both of San Antonio.
She is preceded in death by both her parents; Eulalia Morin and Porfirio Fuentes, son; Eusebio Rodriguez, daughter; Maria Alicia Rodriguez, sisters; Consuelo Fuentes, Socorro Fuentes, Guadalupe Fuentes, Carmela Fuentes, brothers; Manuel Fuentes, Porfirio Fuentes Jr.
