Joe Daniel “Chato” Morales, age 43, passed away Sunday, March 17 2019, peacefully in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Morales was born in Fort. Collins, Colorado to Maria Benavidez & Pedro P. Alvarez. He is preceded in death by his father; Pedro P. Alvarez, and brother; Lupe Morales.
Mr. Morales will be missed most by his loving Wife of 25 years; Frances Morales, daughter; Sylvia (Vidal) Alonzo, brothers; Pete Alvarez Jr, Moses Alvarez, sisters; Sylvia Garza, Norma Rodriguez, Nora Alvarez, Maria E. Martinez, Petra A. Marquez, Misty Vasquez, Maria Lira, Sylvia Lujan, Angelica Chavez, two grandchildren; Seraphine Alonzo, Vivienne Alonzo, and numerus nieces & nephews.
Gentlemen serving as Pallbearers; Vidal Alonzo, Adam Alvarez, Pete Alvarez III, Christian Alvarez, Nicholas Martinez, Joel Lira.
A Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held Wednesday March 20, 2019 7:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Fort Clark Rd, Uvalde, Texas.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Uvalde, Texas.
