Joe Anthony Lopez, age 51 of Lake Hills, Texas formally of Uvalde, Texas went to rest in peace with God on Thursday, November 26, 2020 in Lake Hills, Texas. Joe Anthony Lopez was born in Uvalde, Texas on January 27, 1969 to Rodolfo Saucedo Lopez and Leticia Cuellar Lopez. He is preceded in death by his father; Rodolfo Saucedo Lopez and brother; Angel Lopez.
Joe Anthony Lopez attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and Uvalde High School and received his GED and decided to attend Hallmark Institute where he received his training in mainframe technologies. Upon completion Joe went on to work with Sierra Industries for seven successful years. Joe Anthony Lopez later volunteered to entered the United States Army in 2001 in San Antonio, Texas as a PV2, completed service in Kuwait and Iraq from 2003 to 2004 and received the National Defense service medal, Global war on terrorism expeditionary medal, Global war on terrorism service medal, Army service ribbon, Sharpshooter marksmanship qualification badge with rifle bar and the Overseas service bar (2ND award). Joe Anthony Lopez was truly a servant of God in helping his fellow man.
Joe Anthony Lopez will be missed most by his loving mother; Leticia Cuellar Lopez, of Uvalde, Texas, his companion; Nancy Webb, of Lake Hills, Texas, son; Joe Anthony David Lopez, daughters; Destiny Marie Landry, Isabella Marie Lopez, all of Uvalde, Texas, brother; Lee Roy Lopez and wife, Lisa, of Round Rock, Texas, niece; Miranda Lee Delgado, of McKinney, Texas, nephew; Steven Joseph Lopez, of Round Rock, Texas, great nephew; Thiago Santos Delgado, of McKinney, Texas.
The Lopez family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 75 percent capacity and required mask coverings during all services.

Due to Covid-19, no Vigil is being held and the Lopez family will be reciting the holy rosary on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 9:00 am at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 18, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Fort Clark Road, Uvalde, Texas
Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Army.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, 527 Sgt. Alvarez Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
Services are entrusted to Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas
