John Joseph Garcia 56 formally of Uvalde died Friday, January 19, 2024 at his residence in Alaska.
A Visitation will be held on Monday January 29, 2024 and Tuesday January 30, 2024 both days from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 PM both days at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Rosary will begin at 7:00 PM. Both days. Mass is set for Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 10:00 A.M, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
He was born on September 14, 1967 in Uvalde to Maria Mireles and Deacon Hector Garcia.
He is survived by his wife; Michele Dellinger Garcia of Alaska, mother; Maria Mireles Garcia of Uvalde, two sisters; Jessyca Garcia Cazares and husband; Juan, Jennifer Garcia Talavera and husband; PJ all of Uvalde, mother-in-law; Diane Yandle and husband; John of North Carolina, two brother-in-laws; Michael Dellinger, Rodney Dellinger both of North Carolina, four nephews; Ryan Dellinger, Brandon Dellinger both of North Carolina, Juan Cazares Jr., Joaquin Cazares both of Uvalde, two nieces; Destiney Dellinger of North Carolina, Sophia Talavera of Uvalde. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Juan Cazares Jr., Joaquin Cazares, Sophia Talavera all of Uvalde
Pallbearers will be; Ozzy Cardenas, Jose Garcia Jr., Jose Trevino Jr. all of Uvalde, Ernesto Serna of Castroville, Michael Martinez, Richard Escamilla, Carols Olveda all of San Antonio, Xavier Arellano of Laredo.
He is preceded in death by his father; Deacon Hector Garcia, nephew; Jose Darian Cazares, father-in-law; Robert Dellinger, grandparents; Celestino and Sabina Mireles, Consuelo and Antonio Garcia.
