About three years ago I was searching for an old friend on social media. It seemed he was not to be found but, I remembered his sons name so I gave it a shot. Jorden, immediately responded and wanted to talk, hear a voice because in his words “I love it when this shit happens! I love to be a part of the human story! I’m so excited but I have to go to work, we have to work something out so you guys get to catch up, don’t do anything until you hear from me..ok?” Well I wouldn’t know what to do without Jorden so no problem there. Then I got a text that said “just curios, you wouldn’t happen to be the woman Dad got his bat tattoo with would you?”. I was hesitant because I didn’t know if him knowing that particular detail was a good thing or a really bad thing. I said yes that would be me. The next text said “oh hell yeah”. After that Jorden told me how he loved art and being a part of living art. He told me he was an actor playing the role of “waiter” hahaha.
Troy, I can not express to you how empty and hollow this world will be without Jorden in it, only because you already know. I had a couple of conversations with him but you had his lifetime with him. It was a privilege to get to know him in such a small way. I was actually looking him up this evening just to say hello.
This was a shock and deep sadness. I am so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts, my love and prayers are with and will always be with you and your family.
Melissa
