Jose Briones, age 59 of Uvalde, Texas passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. Jose Briones was born in Littlefield, Texas on September 18, 1960 to Gregorio R. Briones and Tomasa Samaniego Briones. He is preceded in death by his parents both parents; Gregorio R. Briones and Tomasa Samaniego Briones, brother, Jesus Briones, nephew, Frank Briones Jr.
Jose Briones will be missed most by his loving brothers; Juan Gregorio Briones, Jorge Briones, both of Uvalde, Texas, Frank (Vicky) Briones, Presiliano Briones, both of La Pryor, Texas, sisters; Bertha Noonan, Lidia (Juan) Hernandez, both of Uvalde, Texas, Ellie (Robert) Martinez, of Big Springs, Texas, Patty (Avery) Nevarez, of Camp Wood, Texas. 25 nieces and nephews.
The Briones Family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 50 percent capacity and required mask coverings during all services.
Individuals serving as Pallbearers; Naomi Hernandez, Juan Manuel Hernandez III, Jorge Briones Sr., Mathew Castillo, Israel Castillo, Yesenia Briones, Jahaida Briones, Christopher Castro, Les Shaw, all of Uvalde, Texas.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 10:00 A.M.
