With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Jose Guadalupe Maldonado Gonzalez, who departed this life on August 29, 2025, at the age of 78.
Born on July 5, 1947, to Francisco and Rita Maldonado, Jose lived a life marked by dedication, love, and resilience. He proudly served in the military and later worked as a truck driver, a profession that reflected his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to providing for his family. A devout Catholic, Jose found comfort in his faith and joy in the simple pleasures of life—especially in listening to music, which always brought a smile to his face.
Jose was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his daughter Norma Irene Maldonado Serrano, and his cherished grandchildren Isabel Jesus Guadalupe Mena Maldonado, Aron Rivera Maldonado, and Rosa Elvia Rivera Maldonado. He also leaves behind his sister Yolanda Maldonado, brother Jose Francisco Maldonado, and niece Rita Maldonado Rangel. Numerous nieces and nephews.
He is now reunited in eternal peace with his beloved wife of 40 years, Elvia Serrano Esparza, his parents Francisco and Rita Maldonado, his daughter Maria Guadalupe Maldonado Serrano, sisters Concepcion Maldonado Gonzalez and Genovera Villarreal Gonzalez, and brother Juan Carlos Maldonado.
Jose’s legacy of strength, love, and devotion to his family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
