Jose Perry Rodriguez, age 67 of Uvalde, Texas passed away Monday, June 22, 2020 in Uvalde, Texas. Jose Perry Rodriguez was born in Uvalde, Texas on January 13, 1953 to Rosalio Rodriguez and Irene Perry Rodriguez. He is preceded in death by both his parents; Rosalio Rodriguez and Irene Perry Rodriguez, brother, Rosalio “Chalio” Rodriguez Jr.,Roy Perry Rodriguez, sisters; Julia Rodriguez and Josie Rodriguez.
Jose Perry Rodriguez will be missed most by his loving wife, Elizabeth Quijano Rodriguez of 22 years, sons; Humberto (Laura) Castellanos III, Refugio Jesus Delgado, both of Uvalde, Texas, daughter, Morae (Jose Guajardo) Quijano, of Hondo, Texas, brothers; Stevie Perry Rodriguez and , both of Uvalde, Texas, sisters; Esther Gomez, Elva Hernandez, Gloria (Gilbert) Barrera, all of Uvalde, Texas, Dora Canales, of Houston, Texas, Andrea Zapata, of Austin, Texas, Linda (Danny) Chapa, of Corpus Christi, Texas, and sister-in-law, Elvira Rodriguez.
The Rodriguez family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 50 percent capacity at a time during all services.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will also be held at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
Cremation under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home.
