Joey is survived by his parents, Joe and Norma Ruiz; his sisters Dara (Christian Fowler) and Klara Ruiz; his brother Diego Ruiz and his wife, Kimberly Ruiz; his two nieces, Joanna and Allie Ruiz; his grandparents Cipriano and Antonia Patino; great aunt Ramona Ruiz, and numerous cousins & uncles he is predeceased by his Aunt Cheli Patino, his grandmother Martha Ruiz and his uncle Juan Ruiz, cousin Ruben Ruiz, Aunts Ester Ruiz, Ninfa Ruiz, and Maria Flores along with her son Sam Flores. All of uvalde .Joey was born on April 11th 1994 to Joe and Norma Ruiz in uvalde Tx. He graduated from Uvalde High School in 2012 with a diploma and worked as a manger at Fresh Start Decorating Center. Joey was a devoted brother, friend, and son. He enjoyed being outdoors and hanging out with friends and family. He often bragged about his cooking skills, and skied about the status of his car (Cup of Joey) . He savored telling us the latest adventures on his bike. He was the friend, sibling, or son that would drop anything to help or just to hang. He was a go getter and believed he could do anything. He believed he could defy the odds -and he often did. He will be deeply missed by his friends, his family, and everybody that knew him.
Public viewing is 1-5 on July 26th and funeral service is scheduled for 7 pm July 26th. Final service is 10 am on July 27th followed by internment.
