Jose Puente Silvas, 89 of Sabinal, Texas died Monday August 12, 2024 at his residence.
A Visitation will take place Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Rosary will take place at 7:00 P.M. A Mass set for Monday, August 19, 2024 at
10:00 A.M. in St. Patrick Catholic Church. Interment to follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery.
He was born on October 18, 1934 in Sabinal, Texas to Severiano Silvas and Melchorita Puente.
He is survived by his two sons; Joe Silvas Jr.of Midland, Juan Valentine Silvas of Midland, Javier Silvas of Michigan; one sister Margarita Martinez of Sabinal; two brothers; Roy Silvas of Sabinal, Ysidro Irvin Silvas of Sabinal. two granddaughters; Corina Martinez of Sabinal, Jasmina Martinez of Sabinal; two grandsons Luis Martinez of Sabinal, Mark Martinez of D’hanis
Honorary pallbearer; Logan Joe Obregon, Mason Joe Obregon
Pallbearers will be; Joe Obregon, Luis Martinez, Raul Silvas Jr., Roberto Silvas, Jesus Aguilar, Jose Martinez
He is preceded in death by both his parents; Severiano Silvas and Melchorita Puente, two sister; Alvina Alejandro, Candelaria Silvas
