Joselin Perez Gutierrez, age 86 of Uvalde, Texas passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 in Uvalde, Texas. Joselin Perez Gutierrez was born in Crystal City, Texas on March 14, 1934 to Jose Maria Gutierrez and Magdalena Perez. He is preceded in death by both parents; Jose Maria Gutierrez and Magdalena Perez, daughter, Maria Magdalena Gutierrez, brothers; Baldemar Gutierrez, Jaime Gutierrez, Americo Gutierrez, grandson, Miguel G. Arredondo.
Joselin Perez Gutierrez will be missed most by his loving wife of 64 years, Aurora Jimenez Gutierrez whom he married October 20, 1956 in Fort Morgan, Colorado, grandson, Jose Daniel (Samantha) Gutierrez, who he raised as his own son, of Uvalde, Texas, daughters; Maria (Arnulfo) Arredondo, Geraldine Gutierrez, Magdalena Gutierrez, Dolores (James) Gutierrez Zacarias, all of Uvalde, Texas, brother, Jose Manuel (Manuela) Gutierrez, of Fort Worth, Texas, sisters; Anita (Oscar) Silva, Melba (Frank) Valdez, all of Fort Worth, Texas, Rosie (Rafael) Vera, of Uvalde, Texas, 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
The Gutierrez Family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 75 percent capacity and required mask coverings during all services.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Scripture Service will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
Cremation under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home.
