Juan Benito Camacho Sr. “Johnny”, age 70, of Uvalde, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 in Uvalde, Texas. Juan Benito Camacho was born in Lyford, Texas on March 21, 1950 to Rosalio Camacho and Damiana Dominguez. He is preceded in death by his father; Rosalio Camacho, wife; Guadalupe T. Camacho, sons; Juan Camacho Jr., Emilio Camacho, brothers; Isidoro Camacho, Jose Santos.
Juan Benito Camacho will be missed most by his loving sons; David Juan (Marisol) Camacho, Roland (Rosie) Camacho, Lorenzo Camacho, Carlos (Anna) Camacho, all of Uvalde, Texas, daughters; Sulema (Enrique) Cardenas, Elsa Camacho, San Juanita (Benito) Rodriguez, Laura Camacho, all of Uvalde, Texas, brothers; Fidel Camacho, of Uvalde, Texas, Dimas Camacho, of Levelland, Texas, sister; Rosario Acedo, of Mission, Texas, 37 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren.
Gentleman serving as Pallbearers are: David Juan Camacho, Roland Camacho, Lorenzo Camacho, Carlos Camacho, Juan Benito Camacho III, Enrique Cardenas, Raul Jacob Arellano, Bruce Lee Brown, Ricky Camacho, Enrique Camacho Jr., Ruben Larralde Jr., Mark Cardenas Jovanni Arellano, Juan Duran, Devin Brown.
The Camacho Family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 50 percent capacity and required mask coverings during all services.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 and Wednesday, February 3, 2021 both days at 7:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Fort Clark Road, Uvalde, Texas.
Interment will follow at 527 @ Sgt. Alvarez Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
