Juan Francisco "Frank" Garza's Obituary
Juan Francisco “Frank” Garza of Brackettville, Texas was called home on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 in Brackettville, Texas at the age of 63. Mr. Garza was born on May 28, 1955 in Brackettville, Texas to Juan and Concepcion Garza. He is preceded in death by his parents; Juan & Concepcion Garza, daughters; Annette Jimenez and Brenda Garza.
He was well known in the sheep shearing community and several surrounding counties for his humor, hard work, and willingness to help everyone. Frank was also a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and uncle. Mr. Garza married Helen J. Garza on February 11, 1978 in Fort Collins, Colorado and remained together for 40 years.
Mr. Garza will be missed most by his loving wife; Helen J. Garza of Brackettville, Texas, daughters; Francisca G. Hernandez and husband Moses Hernandez, of Brackettville, Texas, daughters; Mary Ann Pina and husband Hector Pina of Del Rio, Texas and Enriqueta Garza and husband Jay Arredondo of Del Rio, Texas, brothers; Arturo Townes of Denver, Colorado, Manuel Garza of Brackettville, Texas, sister; Enriqueta Gonzalez of Brackettville, Texas, ten grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gentlemen serving as Pallbearers; Roy Falcon, Jesus Garza, Kermit Gomez, Jesse Martinez, Valentino Morin and Manuel Morin, Honorary Pallbearers; Keith Suever and Duke Meek all of Brackettville, Texas.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 5:00PM – 9:00 P.M. with Rosary Service at 7:30 P.M.,
Saint Mary’s Magdalene Catholic Church, 301 South Ann Street, Brackettville, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will also be held 10:00AM Saturday, July 7, 2018, 10:00 A.M. at Saint Mary’s Magdalene Catholic Church, 301 South Ann Street, Brackettville, Texas.
Interment to immediately follow Mass at Saint Mary's Magdalene Catholic Cemetery.
