Juan R. Gomez, 83 of Uvalde died July 23, 2022 at Texas Vitas Medical Center in San Antonio.
A Visitation will take place Friday, July 29, 2022 from noon to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Rosary will begin at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Service is set Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home and Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
He was born on June 25, 1939 in Maguarichi Chihuahua, Mexico to Manuela Ramos Gomez and Juan Domingo Gomez.
He is survived by two sons; Alejandro Gomez of Houston, Guillermo Gomez and companion; Julie all of Uvalde, five daughters; Maribel T. Gomez and companion; Richard Guajardo, Gladys Mendoza and husband; Antonio, Juanita Reyna and husband; Crispin, Alicia Arroyo and husband; Ruben, Linda Martinez and husband; Mike all of Uvalde, one sister; Josefina Rangel of Uvalde. Numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jesus G Garcia of Uvalde.
Pallbearers will be Crispin Reyna III, Victoriano Guzman, Justin Rodriguez, Ruben Arroyo, Tommy Gomez, Andrew Gomez, Efrain Reyna, Johnny Ray Reyna all of Uvalde.
He is preceded in death by wife; Alicia T. Gomez, both parents; Manuela Ramos Bustamante and Juan Domingo Gomez, sons; Hector Gomez, Juan Ramos Gomez Jr., Juan Manuel Gomez, sister; Lydia Garcia.
