Juan Manuel Martinez Jr., age 51 of La Pryor, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020 in Lake Jackson, Texas. Juan Manuel Martinez Jr. was born in Crystal City, Texas on June 24, 1968 to Juan Manuel Martinez Sr. and Maria Gonzales Martinez. He is preceded in death by his father, Juan Manuel Martinez Sr., brother, Gabriel Adrian Gonzales, sisters; Laura Martinez, Vanessa Marie Gonzales.
Juan Manuel Martinez Jr. will be missed most by his loving sons; Jeremy Martinez and Jose Miguel (Larissa) Martinez, of both La Pryor, Texas, mother, Maria Martinez, of La Pryor, Texas, brothers; Martin (Maridalia) Martinez and Jose Martinez, both of La Pryor, Enrique (Irma) Martinez, of Wisconsin, Pedro Gonzales, of Dallas, Texas, Abelardo (Alexas) Martinez, of Minnesota, sisters; Rosa Maria (Neto Melendres), Romelia Quintana, Sylvia Martinez, all of La Pryor, Texas, Elizabeth Martinez, of Minnesota, Magale Martinez, of Fort Stockton, Joanna Martinez (Frank Arenas), of Crystal City, Texas & 3 grandchildren; Jeremy Martinez Jr., Matthias Martinez, and Maliah Martinez.
The Martinez family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 25 people at a time during all services.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2020 from 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Tuesday, May 12, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will also be held at 7:00 P.M. both days, Monday, May 11, 2020 and Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in La Pryor Texas on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 10:00 A.M.
Interment to follow at La Pryor Cemetery, La Pryor, Texas.
