Obituary for Juanita Arreola
Juanita Laugarita Arreola passed away on January 1, 2026. She was born on December 22, 1972, in Uvalde, Texas, to Antonio Espinoza and Sebastina Hernandez.
Juanita was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her loving parents, Antonio Espinoza and Sebastina Hernandez; her children, Jessica Faith Arreola, Jason Perez II, and Janelle Aguilar; her cherished grandchildren, Jason Antonio Perez and Alaia Marie Perez; her brother, Antonio Espinoza Jr.; and her sisters, Maria Griffin and Elia Fernandez.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jesse Arreola.
Juanita was a woman of determination and many talents. She attended the Police Academy and excelled in her training. She also achieved high honors in Jiu-Jitsu and earned various certifications in cake decorating. What began as a hobby—her love for baking—grew into a full-time passion and career, allowing her to remain active and present with her children. Her baked goods were a reflection of her creativity, patience, and love for others.
Above all, Juanita was a woman of faith. She was a Christian who lived with strong values, kindness, and devotion to her family. Her warmth, strength, and dedication will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2026 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, a prayer service will take place at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 10:00 A.M, Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church., 408 Fort Clark Rd.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and the many lives she touched.
