Julia Torres Guzman, 89 of Uvalde died August 10, 2022 at Amistad Nursing Home in Uvalde.
A Visitation will take place Monday, August 15, 2022 and Tuesday, August 16, 2022 both days from noon to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Rosary will begin at 7:00 P.M. both days. A Mass is set Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She was born on October 18, 1932 in Yancey to Antonia Zavala and Eutimio Torres Sr.
She is survived by one son; Victoriano Torres Guzman Jr. and wife; Sandra of Uvalde, one daughter; Edna Bermea and husband; Arturo of Uvalde, one brother; Alejandro Torres and wife; Sulema of San Antonio, two sisters; Elida Moreno and Antonia Rios both of Uvalde. 8 grandchildren. 17 great grandchildren. 9 great-great grandchildren.
Honorary Pallbearer; Victoria M. Guzman, Alieta Perez both of Uvalde, Dominic Ariceaga, Nicole Ariceaga both of Mexico.
Pallbearers will be Bernadette Bermea Ariceaga of Mexico, Jesus Christobal Bermea of Converse, Rosalinda Silva, Yvette Perez Flores, Victoriano Torres Guzman III all of Uvalde, Chaz Guzman of Corpus Christi.
She is preceded in death by husband; Victoriano Garcia Guzman Sr., daughter; Noelia Guzman Perez, both parents; Antonia Zavala and Eutimio Torres Sr., three brothers; Valentin Torres, Eutimio Torres Jr., Gilbert Torres Sr., one sister; Andrea Moreno, grandson; Arturo Uriegas Bermea Jr.
