Larry Beloz Mendeke, age 89 of San Antonio died Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.

A Graveside Service is set for Friday, September 30, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Catholic Cemtery in Brackettville.
Larry was born in Brackettville, Texas on July 26, 1933 to Ursula Beloz and August Mendeke Sr. Larry graduated from Uvalde High School in 1951. Larry went on to study at the University of Texas at Austin. Larry also proudly served his country as member of the US Air Force. Larry went on to have a long career working for Pioneer Electronics. While working for Pioneer, Larry had the opportunity to travel abroad and often shared the great cultural experiences with family and friends. Larry lived in Chicago, Illinois and Long Beach, California until his retirement. Upon retiring Larry returned to Texas so that he and his mother, Ursula could be close to family. Larry had a love for singing! He was an active member of the St. Mathew’s Catholic Church Choir in San Antonio, Texas.
Larry was an amazing son. He cared for his mom with an endearing love. The two loved to travel and create memories. Larry had a huge heart and cared for his family deeply. Larry is survived by numerous members of the Mendeke, Beloz and Reschman family who will miss him dearly.
Cremation is under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home.
