Lee Castellon's Obituary
Lee Castellon, age 86 of Hondo, Texas passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 in Uvalde, Texas. Lee Castellon was born on October 28, 1934 in Uvalde, Texas and was given the birth name of Elidio Castellon by his parents Emeterio and Epifania Castellon. He is preceded in death by both parents; Emeterio Castellon and Epifania Castellon.
Lee Castellon will be missed most by his loving sons; Robert (Sandra) Castellon, of Universal City, Texas, George (Alicia) Castellon, of La Grange, Texas, daughters; Letty (Mario) Robles, of Uvalde, Texas, Rachel (Roland) Hernandez, of Castroville, Texas, brothers; Evaristo Castellon, of Uvalde, Texas, Ernesto Castellon, Emeterio Castellon Jr., both of San Antonio, Texas, sisters; Isabel Silva, of San Antonio, Texas, Janie Lopez, Lupe Castellon, both Uvalde, Texas, grandchildren; Jennifer Garcia and Lisa Anderson, of San Antonio, Texas, Sandy Kusy, of Schulenburg, Texas, Cindy Wied, of La Grange, Texas, Victoria Trevino, of Alabama, Amanda Trevino, of Uvalde, Texas, Adriana Robles, of San Antonio, Texas, Marcela Robles, of Uvalde, Texas, grandson, Jose Luis Cardenas, of Uvalde, Texas, 26 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Lee Castellon served in the Korean War from 1950-1953. He was a Corporal with the United States Marine Corp and upon completion of hos contract he joined the United States Air Force until his retirement as a Master Sergeant.
The Castellon Family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 75 percent capacity and required mask coverings during all services.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas and Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Chapel Hill Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Road, San Antonio, Texas.
Due to Covid-19, no Vigil is being held and the Castellon Family will be reciting the Holy Rosary on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 6:30 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas and 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Road, San Antonio, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:15 P.M. Thursday, December 10, 2020 at St. Peter’s Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church, 111 Barilla Place, San Antonio, Texas.
Graveside Service will be held at 1:45 P.M. Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas.
Interment to Follow at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas.
