Lee Henry Thurmond Sr., age 84 of Utopia, Texas passed away Wednesday, January 06, 2021 in Utopia, Texas. Lee Henry Thurmond Sr. was born in San Antonio, Texas on May 4, 1936 to William Thurmond and Lessie Mae McKinney Thurmond. He is preceded in death by both parents; William Thurmond and Lessie Mae Thurmond, sister, Willie Mae.
Lee Henry Thurmond Sr. will be missed most by his loving wife of 42 years, Nola Thurmond, of Utopia, Texas, sons, Lee (Yolanda) Thurmond Jr., of San Antonio, Texas, daughters, Melody (Ron) Schmitz, of Porter, Texas, Sarah Thurmond, of Ballinger, Texas.
The Thurmond Family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 75 percent capacity and required mask coverings during all services.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Waresville Cemetery, Utopia, Texas.
