Linda Lea Sober's Obituary
Linda Sober, born on January 10, 1952, in Golden Acres, Texas, to Elijah Padgett and Lela Lee Manus, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025, at the age of 73.
Linda was married to Jerry Sober on July 30, 1988, and together they created a loving family. She is survived by her son, James L. Sober, and his wife, Michelle; her daughters, Barbara Binghan, Pamela Petrosky, and April Sober; five grandsons, Justyn Petrosky, Tyler Petrosky, Daniel Anderson, Kane Jackson, and Sincere Jackson; two granddaughters, Taryn Ashley; Everly Grace Sober and three great grandsons, Zane Vaughn, Daniel King Anderson, and Nolan Petrosky.
A passionate horticulturist and devoted stay-at-home mom, Linda found joy in gardening and being outdoors, where she found peace along the Nueces River. She loved to travel and had a deep appreciation for nature's beauty. She also had a love for motorcycles, being an active member of a motorcycle ministry, and she held a special place in her heart for all those who shared her passion.
Linda was a kind and giving soul who always put others first. Her loving spirit and generous heart touched the lives of everyone who knew her. A dedicated Christian, she lived with faith and grace, guiding her family and friends through her example of love and compassion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elijah Padgett and Lela Lee Manus.
Linda’s legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering faith will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the memories she leaves behind.
Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
