Louisa Reyna's Obituary
Louisa G. Reyna, age 83, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018, peacefully in Uvalde, Texas. Mrs. Reyna was born in Yancey, Texas to Domingo and Cesaria Gauna. She is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years Jesus Reyna Sr., parents; Domingo & Cesaria Gauna, brothers; Avelino, Ernesto, Tomas and Victor Gauna, sisters; Juanita Jaramillo and Tomasita Saravia, and grandson; Spc. Juan “Johnny” Ortega Jr. U.S. Army.
Mrs. Reyna will be missed most by her loving sons; Canuto (Lucy) Reyna of Jourdanton, Texas, Jesus Reyna of San Antonio, Texas, Robert (Denise) Reyna of Uvalde, Texas, John Reyna of Uvalde, Texas, daughters; Sylvia (Alejandro) Avila of San Antonio, Texas; Mary Lou (Juan) Ortega of Abilene, Texas, Leticia Reyna of Uvalde, Texas, Carmen (Andres) Guevara of Uvalde, Texas, Teresa Reyna of Uvalde, Texas, 20 grand-children, 35 great-grandchildren and many nieces & Nephews.
Gentlemen serving as Pallbearers; Javier Ortega of Abilene, Texas, Jesus Reyna III of Charlotte, Texas, Jose Sanchez Jr. of Devine, Texas, John Rangel Jr. of Uvalde, Texas, Andru Reyna, of Charlotte, Texas, and Lanze Stapelton of San Antonio, Texas.
A Visitation will be held Sunday and Monday, November 18, and 19, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Rosary will also be held Sunday and Monday, November 18 and 19, 2018 at 7:00 P.M Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00A.M. Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Fort Clark Street, Uvalde, Texas
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, in Uvalde, Texas.
