Luis Alfonso Alvarado Sr., 61 of Uvalde died Monday October 21, 2024 at Methodist Hospital.
A Visitation will take place Saturday, October 26, 2024 and Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. both days at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a rosary will take place on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 7:00 P.M. A Mass is set for Monday, October 28, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Scared Heart Catholic Church.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
He was born on November 19, 1962 in Mexico to Pedro Alvarado Sr and Andrea Morua.
He is survived by his wife; Victoria Candela of Uvalde; one son; Luis Alvarado Jr. of Crystal City; three daughters; Jennifer Alvarado of Uvalde; Nancy Martinez and husband Jonathan of Uvalde; Crystal Barrera and husband Antonio Jr. of Hereford; three step children; Myda Sanchez and husband Adam of Houston; Jonathan Candela and wife Lagean of Minnesota; Victor Candela Jr of Minnesota; one brother; Pedro Alvarado Jr and wife Maria of Eagle Pass; three sisters; Maria A Rendon; Marisol Alvarado; Alma Garza and husband Alejandro all of Uvalde
14 grandchildren; 11 step grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; multiple niece and nephews
