Luisa "Mary Lou" Ortega Rodriguez 's Obituary
Luisa Ortega Rodriguez, 72, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 peacefully in her home. Mrs. Rodriguez was born in D’Hanis, Texas. She married on September 12, 1970. In 1977 she dedicated herself, and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Mrs. Rodriguez spent the rest of her life speaking to others, and spreading her faith. She is preceded in death by her parents; Sebastian and Linda Ortega, and sister; Julia Nelson.
Mrs. Rodriguez will be missed most by her loving husband of 48 years, Luis Rodriguez of Uvalde, Texas, daughter; Julissa Abegail Rodriguez of New Braunfels, Texas, sons;
Josue Alfredo ( Olga) Rodriguez of Clute, Texas, Reginaldo Luis Rodriguez Jr. of Uvalde, Texas, James Nathan Rodriguez (Melody) of Elgin, Kansas, brothers; Felix Ortega of Wisconsin,
sisters; Mary Esquivel of Illinois, Irene Vogt of Watertown, Wisconsin and two grandchildren her “ Babies” Isabella Marie, and Joaquin Santiago Rodriguez.
A visitation will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Prayer service will also be held at 7:00P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home,
Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
Interment will follow at a later date.
