Lula Iris Davis-Williamson 's Obituary
Lula Iris Davis Williamson went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 19, 2019 in Kingsville, Texas. She was born on June 26, 1930 in Liberal, Kansas to Robert Jefferson Davis and Hazel Tomlin Davis. She grew up near Pettit in Hockley County, Texas. She married John Allen Williamson at the Baptist Church in Pettit on January 19, 1951. They had five daughters. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Don Davis and wife LaVerne, one sister Jo Ann Vick and husband JD, brother-in-law Percy Wade, her husband John, and one daughter, Teresa Williamson Gallaway Ochoa. She is survived by two sisters Winnie Stuart and husband Bill of Lubbock, Hazel Wade of Lake Jackson, four daughters, Pat Shepherd and husband Stewart, Marie Williamson, Sherri McCasland and husband Shawn, all of Uvalde, Martha Kennedy and husband Martin of Riviera, Texas, and son-in-law Richard Ochoa of San Antonio. Twelve grandchildren, John Shepherd (LeeAnn) of San Antonio, Rachel Hohman, Joshua Shepherd, and Rebecca Mann (Jake) of Uvalde, Rhonda Gallaway of San Antonio, Alan Gallaway (Cami) of Prosper, Ben Gallaway (Christina) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Debbie Oblitas of San Antonio, Chelsea Tidball (Matt), Colby McCasland, Logan McCasland all of Uvalde, and Tres Kennedy of Riviera. Eighteen great grandchildren and one on the way, and two great, great grandchildren.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at Baptist Temple Church on January 11 at 2 pm.
