Luther “Johnny” Smith, age 67, of Brackettville, Texas passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 5, 2021 in Brackettville, Texas. Luther “Johnny” Smith was born in Junction, Texas on May 5, 1954 to Jesse Smith and Helen Smith. He is preceded in death by both parents; Jesse Smith and Helen Smith, brother, Jesse (Jake) Smith Jr.
Luther “Johnny” Smith will be missed most by his loving wife of 48 years, Nennette Smith, of Brackettville, Texas, sons; Luther (John) Smith, of Brackettville, Texas, Simon Smith, of San Antonio, Texas, sister; Patricia (Jimmy) Gass, of Crystal City, Texas, brothers; James Smith, of San Antonio, Texas, Sammy (Donna) Smith, of Junction, Texas, sister-in-law, Debbie Smith, of Brackettville, Texas, numerous grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Cremation under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home.
