Lynda Joyce Conlin's Obituary
Lynda Joyce Conlin, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on April 12, 2025, just shy of her 76th birthday. Born on April 25, 1949, in San Antonio, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of the late Robert Leroy Conrey and Cathryn Carrie Carpenter.
Lynda’s warmth, generosity, and infectious smile lit up every room she entered. She lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure. In 2009, she married the love of her life, John Joseph Conlin, who survives her. Together, they shared years of joy, travel, and deep companionship.
She is also survived by her two sons: Keith Richard Gose and his wife Kathryn of Brackettville, and Mark William Gose and his wife Tonyia of Alvord. Lynda was a proud and devoted grandmother to four grandchildren: Josh Gose, Brook Gose, Gracie Gose, and Addi Gose, who brought endless pride and joy to her life.
Professionally, Lynda worked in accounts receivables, where her diligence and kindness made a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike. Outside of work, she found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—knitting, camping, being outdoors, and traveling to new places. Above all, she loved making people smile and was known for her radiant personality and boundless compassion.
Lynda was preceded in death by her loving parents, and their memory lived on in the stories she shared and the values she passed down.
Her legacy of love, joy, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Cremation is under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home
