Marco Antonio Arellano's Obituary
Marco Antonio Arellano, 16 of Uvalde died May 5, 2023 at University Hospital in San Antonio.
Visitation will take place both Monday, May 8, and Tuesday May 9, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Rosary will begin both days at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial is set Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Marco was born on March 8, 2007 in Uvalde and attended Uvalde High School where he was a sophomore. Marco was a member of the Uvalde ROTC program and planned to attend the United States Navy. He enjoyed swimming and outdoor activities with his family. He lit up every room with his spirit and love. Marco will always be remembered as the member of the family who wanted to care for everyone.
He is survived by his parents, Zulema Urrabazo Arellano and step-dad Paul Michael Creagh Sr. one brother; Paul Michael Creagh Jr, two sisters; Angelique Rose Slayton and Destiny Ivy Slayton all of Uvalde, Texas, maternal grandparents; Maria and Juan Arellano, maternal great grandmother; Agustina Urrabazo, two uncles; Claudio Eugenio Arellano and wife; Jessica, Jesus Arellano all of Uvalde, two cousins; Ivan Arellano, Victor Arellano of Uvalde.
Preceded in death by maternal grandparents; Rosalia and Eugenio Arellano.
Pallbearers will be Claudio Eugenio Arellano, Ivan Arellano, Victor Arellano, Jesus Arellano, Ruben Urrabazo, and Aurelio Tellez Jr all of Uvalde, Texas
