Margarita Gamez's Obituary
Margarita R. Gamez, age 82 of Uvalde, Texas passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021 in Uvalde, Texas, surrounded by her beloved family. Margarita R. Gamez was born on August 27, 1938 in Coro, Michigan to Juan Rendon and Concepcion Diaz Rendon. She is preceded in death by both parents; Juan Rendon and Concepcion Diaz Rendon, brothers; Guadalupe Rendon, John Rendon, Mariano Rendon, Mike Rendon, sister, Dolores “Lola” Diaz.
Margarita Rendon Gamez will be missed by her husband of 50 years, Josue Gamez, of Uvalde, Texas, sons; Amos (Janet) Trevino III, of Floresville, Texas, Robert Lee Trevino Sr., of Midland, Texas, daughters; Mary Bustamante (Epifanio “Pete” Moreno), Kimberly (Mark Sanchez) all of Kyle, Texas, Dolores “Lolie” (Rick) Perez, of Uvalde, Texas, 21 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
The Gamez Family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 75 percent capacity and required mask coverings during all services.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, HWY 90 West @ 527 Sgt. Alvarez Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
