Margarita Garcia, 74 of Uvalde died Sunday April 14, 2024 at her residence in Uvalde.
A Visitation will take place Saturday, April 20, 2024 and Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. both days at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will take place Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Service set for Monday, April 22, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She was born on April 10, 1950 in Mexico to Jose Isabel Garcia and Guadalupe Reyes Olivas.
She is survived by her son; Israel Hernandez Garcia and wife; Yesenia of Austin, five daughters; Maria Isabel Hernandez and husband; Gerardo of Austin, Lilia Zurita and husband; Oscar of Dale, Laura Hernandez, Rosa Margarita Nelson and husband; Ronnie all of Uvalde, Julia Idalia Hernández of Mexico, three brothers; Victor Garcia and wife; Ludim, Luis Garcia and wife; Maria all of El Paso, Armando Garcia and wife; Micaela of Juarez, one sister; Guadalupe Mora and husband; Ramon of El Paso. 16 grandchildren. 19 great grandchildren. 21 nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be; Raul Hernández of Round Rock, Gerardo Garcia, Gerald Alcantar, Edward Saavedra all of Austin, Augustin Escobar of Athens, Oscar Zurita, Humberto Zurita, Israel Hernandez all of Dale.
She is preceded in death by both her parents; Jose Isabel Garcia and Guadalupe Reyes Olivas, sister; Rosa Garcia.
