Margarita Diaz Garza, 100 of Uvalde died Monday, October 10, 2022 at Amistad Nursing Home in Uvalde.
A Visitation will take place Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will begin both days at 7:00P.M. A Funeral Service set for Friday, October 14, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Templo Cristiano. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She was born on February 23, 1922 in Piedras Negras Coahuila Mexico to Angelita Alaniz and Marcos De Leon Diaz
She is survived by five sons; Ramon Diaz Garza, Raul Diaz Garza both of Uvalde, Juan Diaz Garza, Rogelio Diaz Garza both of California, Domingo Diaz Garza of San Antonio, three daughters; Belia Diaz Garza of Colorado, Jesusita Diaz Alvarado of Nebraska, Olga Diaz Garza of California, two brothers, Jose Angel Diaz of Knippa, Josue Diaz of Uvalde, one sister, Teodora Placencia of Lubbock.
Pallbearers will be Rene Garza of California, Domingo Garza Jr. of San Antonio, Jose Angel Diaz Jr., Roland Diaz of both Knippa, Antonio Aguinaga, Arnulfo Aguinaga both of Uvalde.
He is preceded in death by both parents; Angelita Alaniz Diaz and Marcos De Leon Diaz, brother; Roberto Diaz Garza, daughter, Irma Diaz Garza, sister, Gregoria D. Granado.
