Margarita Flores Rios was born in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico on March 24, 1927 to Melquiades Flores and Paula Aguilar-Flores. She is preceded in death by both parents; Melquiades Flores and Paula Aguilar-Flores, husband of 35 years, Jesus Cantu Rios, daughter, Diana Rios Samora, brothers; Francisco Flores, Juan Flores, sisters; Lorenza Flores, Felicitas Guerrero, Paula Flores, grandchildren; Xavier Jai Rios, David Rios Silva, Lucas Samora IV, Zachary Morales, Jordan Silva, son-in-law, Teodoro Martinez.
Margarita Flores Rios will be missed most by her loving sons; Jesus Xavier(Cynthia) Rios of Uvalde, Texas, Walter Scott (Filomena) Rios of San Antonio, Texas, daughters; Dora Elia (Antonio) Morales of Cedar Park, Texas, Irma Yolanda Martinez, Maria Olivia Valverde, Guadalupe Soraya (Jesse) Cruz all of Uvalde, Texas, 18- grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 26- great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on from Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home-Chapel of Tranquility, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas
A Funeral Service will also be held Friday, December 10, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home-Chapel of Tranquility, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, HWY 90 West @527 Sgt. Alvarez Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
