Maria Castillo, 70 of Uvalde died Monday October 24, 2022 at her residence in Uvalde.
A Visitation will take place Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Thursday, October 27, 2022 from noon to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside Friday, October 28, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. Big Wells.
She was born on June 5, 1952 in Asherton to Paula and Ramon Castillo.
She is survived by her one son; Carlos Castillo Jr of Minnesota, one daughter; Claudia Castillo and companion; Kendrick Lee of Uvalde, four brothers; Jose Castillo of Yoakum, Ricardo Castillo Sr. of Big Wells, Reynaldo Castillo, Hector Castillo both of Illinois, one sister; Esmeralda Hernandez of Illinois, 3 Grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Nathaniel Holguin and Tyler Holguin both of Uvalde.
Pallbearers will be Leo Holguin Jr., Carlos Holguin, Victoria Castillo-Lee, Imogen Martinez, Elizabeta Ruiz all of Uvalde, Ricardo Castillo III of Minnesota.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband; Carlos R. Castillo Sr. parents; Paula Castillo and Ramon Castillo, four brothers; Alfredo Castillo, Rodolfo Castillo, Ramon Castillo Jr., Jesus Castillo.
