Elida DeLeon Diaz, age 72 of Uvalde, Texas passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020 in Uvalde, Texas. Elida DeLeon Diaz was born October 26, 1947 to Carlos Diaz Sr. and Amanda DeLeon Diaz. She is preceded in death by both parents, Carlos Diaz Sr. and Amanda DeLeon Diaz, brother; Carlos Diaz Jr.
Elida DeLeon Diaz will be missed most by her son, Vicente G. Diaz, of Uvalde, Texas, daughter, Ave Maria Diaz, of Uvalde, Texas, sister-in-law, Rosario Diaz, of Uvalde, Texas, nieces, Lydia Diaz (Elias) Martinez, of Uvalde, Texas, Annabelia Diaz (Roy) Llanes, of Sabinal, Texas, Erica Diaz (Jesse) Campuzano, of Crosbyton, Texas, Fatima Diaz (Jorge) Cervantez, of San Antonio, Texas, nephews; Jesse (Angie) De La Rosa, of Whitehall, Michigan, Paul (Vicki Anderson) De La Rosa, of Muskegon, Michigan, Roger (Irma) Diaz, of San Antonio, Texas, Carlos (Michelle) Diaz III, of Sabinal, Texas.
Family Diaz would like to give a special thank you to her caregiver, Gloria Cisneros.

The Diaz family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 10 people at a time during all services.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, April 24, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will also be held 7:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. Saint Mary Magdalen Church, 311 East 3rd Street, Camp Wood, Texas.
Interment to follow at Garden of Memories, 408 Ranch Road 337, Camp Wood, Texas.
Services are entrusted to Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
