Maria Estella Gonzales, 57 of Uvalde died Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Christus Santa Rosa in San Antonio.
A Visitation will take place Monday, December 19, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where A Rosary will begin at 7:00 P.M. Mass set for Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She was born on December 5, 1965 in Uvalde to Juanita Hassette and Ramon Sambrano.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years; Paul Gonzales which married on July 1, 1992 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Uvalde, three sons; Paul Gonzales III and companion; Bertha Martinez, John Paul Gonzales and wife; Ashley, Matthew Ray Gonzales all of Uvalde, one daughter; Imelda Sambrano and companion; Roland Cortez of La Pryor, Mother; Juanita Hassette pf La Pryor, eight brothers; Victor Gauna of Uvalde, David Gauna, Juan Sambrano both of Batesville, Martin Sambrano, Armando Sambrano, Ramon Sambrano, Mario Sambrano, Rogelio Sambrano all of La Pryor, four sisters; Rosa Castro of Uvalde, Lupita Sambrano, Yolanda Sambrano all of La Pryor, Janie Sambrano both of Batesville. 10 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Paul Gonzales, John Gonzales, Matthew Gonzales all of Uvalde, Roland Cortez, Mario Sambrano, Dominick Cortez all of La Pryor.
She is preceded in death by parents; father; Ramon Sambrano.
