Maria Olga Melendrez, age 80 of La Pryor, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. Maria Olga Melendrez was born in La Pryor, Texas on October 24, 1939 to Florencio Melendrez and Juanita Ruiz Melendrez. She is preceded in death by her parents; Florencio Melendrez and Juanita Ruiz Melendrez, sons; Raul Jacquez and Ernesto Jacquez, bother, Arnulfo Melendrez.
Maria Olga Melendrez will be missed most by her loving son, Lloyd (Janie) Jacquez, of La Pryor, Texas, daughters; Dora Salazar, of San Antonio, Texas, Lydia (JR) Rodea, Harlingen, Texas, brothers; Ernesto Melendrez, of Ohio, Florencio Melendrez Jr, of La Pryor, Texas, sisters; Carolina Mata, Guadalupe Vera, both of La Pryor, Texas, Maria Elena Luna, of San Antonio, Texas, 8 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren.
The Jacquez family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 50 percent capacity and required mask coverings during all services.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Prayer Service will also be held at 7:00 P.M., Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
