Maria Luisa Montes was born in Musquiz, Coahuila Mexico on August 25, 1944 to Felix Quintero Vasquez and Julia Lozano. She is preceded in death by spouse, Hipolito Montes, son, Manuel Montes, parents; Felix Quintero Vasquez and Julia Lozano Vasquez, brother, Manuel Vasquez.
Maria Luisa Montes will be missed most by her daughters; Monica Rodriguez, Imelda Zamora both of Uvalde, Texas, Lucy Montes of Portland, Texas, Julie Montes of Kingsville, Texas son; Antonio Montes of Seguin, Texas sister, Nelda Garcia of Houston, Texas. 19-grandchildren, 27-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 28, 2022 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, HWY 90 @ 527 Sgt. Alvarez Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
