Maria Negrete, age 75, of Batesville, Texas passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 in Uvalde, Texas. Maria Negrete was born in Batesville, Texas, on January 3, 1946 to Rodolfo Vasquez and Josefa Torres Vasquez. She is preceded in death by husband, Felipe Negrete, son, Javier Jimenez, parents; Rodolfo Vasquez, Josefa Torres Vasquez, grandson, Greg Gonzales Jr., brothers; Mauricio Vasquez, Anacleto Vasquez, sisters; Margarita Ruiz, Odelia Sanchez, Graciela Garcia, Ester Jimenez.
Maria Negrete will be missed most by her loving sons; Jose Jimenez, of Ingram, Texas, Jesus Jimenez, Jaime Jimenez, Felipe Negrete, of Batesville, Jerardo (Angela) Jimenez, of Kerrville, Texas, Robert Negrete, of Sabinal, Texas, daughters; Christina Gonzales, of La Pryor, Chriselda (Cayetano III) Rios, of Andrews, Texas, brothers; Armando Vasquez, of Chicago, IL, Rodolfo Vasquez Jr., of Batesville, Texas, sisters; Minerva Orozco, of Chicago, IL, Maria Antonia Garcia, Genoveva Cruz, both of Batesville, Texas, 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held Friday, August 27, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
