Maria Muniz Ovalle 75 of Uvalde died Monday June 3, 2024 at Methodist Texsan Hospital in San Antonio.
A Visitation will take place Wednesday, June 5, 2024 and Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. both days at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Rosary will take place both days at 7:00 P.M. A Mass set for Friday June 7, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She was born on December 10, 1948 in Matamoros, Mexico to Emilia Cepeda and Juan Muniz.
She is survived by her husband; Max J. Ovalle Jr. of Uvalde, son; Joe Louis Ovalle and wife; Denise of Galena Park, Texas, three daughters; Graciela Acosta and companion; Hugo Ybarra of Galena Park, Texas, Cecilia Ovalle Costilla and husband; Juan Pablo, Christina Swift all of Uvalde, Texas. 12 grandchildren. 21 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be; Carlos Ovalle, Mario Ortiz III, Tony Ovalle both of Uvalde, Texas, Martin Salazar, of Galena Park, Texas, Robert Castillo, Jose Sanchez, Ruben Sanchez all of Friendswood, Texas, Mike Salas Jr. of Irvington, Alabama.
She is preceded in death by both her parents; Emilia Cepeda Muniz and Juan Muniz, brother; Jose Angel Muniz, son-in-law; Michael Swift.
