Maria Guadalupe Riojas, age 72, of Uvalde, Texas passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas.
Mrs. Riojas was born in Mexico to Ambrosio Riojas & Maria Antonieta “Maroquin” Riojas. She is preceded in death by her husband; Martin Hipolito, son; Francisco Javier Elizondo; both parents; Ambrosio Riojas &
Maria Antonieta Riojas, and sister; Orfelinda Riojas Robledo.
Mrs. Riojas will be missed most by her son; Carlos ( Norma) Elizondo Riojas, Martin (Guadalupe) Hipolito, Elizondo Riojas, Rene Reyes Elizondo, Victor (Lisa) Manuel Elizondo Riojas, daughter; Nora (Pedro) Nereida, brothers; Felipe Riojas Robledo, Manuel Riojas Robledo, sisters; Maria De La Luz Riojas Robledo, 19 grandchildren, 26 great- grandchildren, and 12 great-great- grandchildren.
Gentlemen Serving as pallbearers; Adalberto Elizondo, Victor Elizondo, Angel Elizondo, Roberto Galan, Gustavo Salas, Antonio Layva, and Ivan Rodriguez.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 14th, 2019,
and Thursday, August 15th, 2019 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. at
Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Holy Rosary will be held on Wednesday, August 14th, 2019 at 7:00 P.M., and Thursday, August 15, 2019 7:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 16th, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Fort Clark Road, Uvalde, Texas.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 527 Lover Lane, Uvalde, Texas 78801
