Dear Thomas and Rodriguez Family,
Our hearts are saddened as our good Lord and God called on our cousin to serve HIM in heaven. As sad as it is, we also rejoice at her calling after having accomplished her mission in this tempoary world that we live in. We are left with many fond memories of her earthly life and the impact she had on so many relatives and friends. I remember the good times we had playing in and around the farms in Batesville. Our aunts, uncles, and cousins all had so much fun at family gatherings. Eating watermellon and corn on the cob fresh from the fields and running around in the fields of cotton and vegetables, enjoying the nice clean fresh air. Those were the days that God allowed us to have and enjoy. They made for what we grew up with and being grateful for our lives. We enjoyed the fun that our parents had in visiting each other, telling jokes and arguing to see who could tell the best joke. Some of them we did not understand but we loved seeing them laugh and enjoy each other's company. indeed, we had great growing up years for which we give thanks to GOD. Our job now is to pray for the repose of Yoland's soul and that HE will open the gates to heaven for her. May she rest in peace waiting for the rest of us to get there to see all our deceased relatives together!!!
