Maria De La Luz Trevino, age 91 of Uvalde, Texas passed away Monday, August 10, 2020 in Uvalde, Texas. Maria De La Luz Trevino was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on August 8, 1929 to Victor Torres and Julia Patlan. She is preceded in death by both her parents; Victor Torres and Julia Patlan Torres, husband, Augustine B. Trevino, sisters; Carmen Delgado, Helen Pena, great grandchild, Myke Howard Nikolas Hernandez.
Maria De La Luz will be missed most by her loving sons; Augustine Jose (Juanita) Trevino Jr., of Bastrop, Texas, Louis (Maria) Trevino, of Uvalde, Texas, John M. Trevino, of Carrizo Springs, Texas, 8 grandchildren, 21 great-great grandchildren, 3 great-great-great grandchildren, nephew, Jose Barrera.
The Trevino family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 50 percent capacity and required mask coverings during all services.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will also be held at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 12, 2020. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
Cremation under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home.
