Marianita Santana Garcia 74 of Uvalde died Wednesday March 6, 2024 at Uvalde HealthCare Center in Uvalde.
A Visitation will take place Sunday, March 10, 2024 and Monday, March 11, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. both days at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Rosary will take place both days at 7:00 P.M. A Mass set for Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She was born on February 18, 1950 in Mexico to Trinidad Rodriguez and Ascencion Santana.
She is survived by her husband Enrique A. Garcia of Uvalde, one son; Enrique Garcia and wife JoAnn of San Antonio, two daughters; Rosa A. Garcia, Elsa Garcia Ruiz and husband; Manuel Ruiz Sr. all of Uvalde, three brothers; Augustin Santana of Crystal City, Pablo Santana and wife; Maria of Alice, Ascencion Santana and wife; Diana of San Antonio. 10 grandchildren. 16 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be; Jeremy Garcia, Dustin Rodriguez both of Uvalde, Cristian Gonzalez of Rockport, Ryan Gonzalez of Corpus Christi, Ricky Garcia of San Antonio and Sergio Porras of Andrews.
She is preceded in death by both her parents; Trinidad Rodriguez Santana and Ascencion Santana, son; Hector Garcia, brother; Jose Angel Santana.
